Ashlynd + Felipe Are Married! - Jeni Buchanan Photography

Over the past year, I have had the most pleasure getting to know Ashley and Felipe. From the first time I talked with her on the phone, I just knew they were the kind of clients I wanted to work with. She has a heart of gold and he is so down to earth and funny! And over time I have gotten to know her family and just love them to pieces. And lo and behold, I grew up with Felipe's dad, and know where that sense of humor comes from. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. You may remember their engagement session in downtown Rock Hill and Glencairn Gardens.

Over the course of their wedding planning, we spent time talking about ways to make their day their own and how to make sure they got the kinds of photos they wanted. We decided to do their family photos at the reception, since they are nature lovers and prefer a less formal look. The one thing she was worried about was rain on her wedding day. It stormed the entire week leading up to the wedding, but her prayers were answered when the sun came out and made their wedding day just what she wanted. At the end of the night, a little shower came, but I showed her the magic that can happen even in the rain.
